Students at Essex High School are learning to make Mobile Apps using React Native.  React Native is a programming language used to build apps that work in IOS and Android phones. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are prerequisites for React Native, students in our course spend the first semester learning these skills.  In the second semester, React Native is taught and then used to build apps that can be uploaded to phones. CodeHS is used as the teaching platform.
